Salary: $29.50 to $34.00 hourly (To be negotiated) / 35 to 44 hours per week

Terms of employment: Permanent employment; Full-time

Hours: Day; Early morning; Overtime may be required to finish delivery schedule

Responsibilities

Tasks

Load and unload goods

Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials

Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle

Receive and relay information to central dispatch

Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo

Transport tools and equipment on push or hand cars

Credentials

Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses

Air Brakes Endorsement

Driver's Licence (Class 3 or D)

Experience and specialization

Documentation knowledge

Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip)

Communication systems experience

Operate GPS (Global Positioning Systems) and other navigation equipment
