Connect the Doc is a Vancouver-based marketing and software company that helps dental and healthcare practices grow by attracting more patients through digital marketing, online visibility, and automation tools. Our platform combines AI-driven marketing strategies, reputation management, and patient engagement solutions to improve search rankings, increase reviews, and drive new patient bookings with minimal effort from clinic staff.
Job Responsibilities
• Develop, modify, integrate and maintain web applications, SaaS platforms, dashboards, portals and responsive websites
• Build and improve front-end interfaces and web application functionality
• Use AI-assisted development tools and workflows to develop, test, troubleshoot and improve web applications and interfaces
• Develop new web-based tools from initial concept through functional implementation
• Integrate APIs, databases, third-party services and AI-powered functionality into web applications
• Work with platforms such as Lovable and other modern development tools to create and iterate on web applications
• Translate Figma designs and UX/UI concepts into functional web interfaces
• Write and modify HTML and CSS and work with modern web application technologies
• Test, troubleshoot and debug web applications across different devices and browsers
• Monitor and maintain web application functionality, identify issues and implement improvements
• Collaborate with product, marketing and technical team members to define requirements and improve user experience
• Participate in web application architecture and interface design in collaboration with product and technical team members
• Research and evaluate web development, interactive media and AI-assisted development technologies to improve web application functionality and user experience

Qualifications
• Post-secondary education or training in Web Development, UX/UI, Interactive Design, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and practical experience
• Practical experience developing websites, web applications or other interactive digital products
• Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
• Understanding of responsive web design and modern UX/UI principles
• Experience with or willingness to work with AI-assisted development tools
• Familiarity with Figma or similar interface design/prototyping tools
• Familiarity with Lovable or similar AI-powered web application development platforms is an asset
• Experience with APIs, databases, JavaScript/TypeScript or modern web frameworks is an asset
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new technologies
• Ability to independently test, troubleshoot and improve web-based products
